SVETLANA COLTA

FOUNDER & CEO

Svetlana established Carré Trust in June 2016. She joined the industry in 2000 and brings over a quarter of a century of experience in the fiduciary and financial services sector, including a decade working for a large international trust group. Born in the Soviet Union, Svetlana has subsequently lived in Western countries for more than 25 years, which provides her with excellent knowledge of both cultural mentalities.

Svetlana’s substantial professional experience in the fiduciary and corporate services industry, as well as her established and trusted relationships with banks and service providers, enables her to offer expert guidance and assistance to clients.

Ambitious for her company, it continues to grow from strength to strength.

LEWIS EXON

TRUST MANAGER

After over a decade of experience gained in the fiduciary and corporate services industry, Lewis has the requisite expertise to lead our trust department and manage a number of significant client relationships. Prior to joining Carré Trust in 2019, he worked for a large international trust group in the Isle of Man and a leading offshore law firm in Bermuda.

Lewis is part-qualified as a Chartered Company Secretary with the ICSA (due to complete in 2022) and holds the ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance & Administration, completed in 2014.

GIUZEL ALEEVA

MANAGER – CLIENT RELATIONS

Giuzel is a qualified lawyer in International Business and European Law with a Master’s degree from the University of Zurich and an LL.M from the KU Leuven in Belgium. Prior to her international studies, Giuzel graduated from Kutafin Moscow State Law University with Master’s degree in Private law.

With almost a decade of experience in the areas of private and corporate law and tax gained at large international firms in Moscow and Zurich, Giuzel has the knowledge and experience to provide bespoke services to meet a range of clients’ needs.

Giuzel’s primary focus is on managing complex legal issues relating to private international clients and their structures, including the analysis and design of corporate and fiduciary structures for succession planning, full legal transactional support, as well as dealing with various compliance and regulatory matters.

 

POLLY WALKER-HAIGH

DEPUTY COMPLIANCE OFFICER

With natural organisational ability and experience in event management, Polly has responsibility for looking after the day-to-day operations of the office and general administration.

Polly is tri-lingual, speaking English, Spanish and Catalan, and is currently studying German and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She is also qualified to teach English and gained 14 years’ experience in this area before joining Carré Trust in 2020.

Kenneth M. Hodge

Managing Director BVI

Kenneth has extensive senior level experience having worked in the offshore financial services industry for over 20 years, including being a director for one of the larger international trust companies in the Virgin Islands where he gained a reputation for delivering tailored and exceptional solutions, following which he established his own business in the British Virgin Islands in 2009.

Kenneth holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Distinction) from HULT International Business school in the UK, is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a practicing certificate from the ACCA to practice accountancy in the British Virgin Islands. In addition, he is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Anghel George

Finance and IT Director

Anghel George is an accounting professional whose career spans the private and public sectors. Prior to joining the Financial Services Industry, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a five-star resort for a number of years and has facilitated various seminars in the BVI. Anghel also served on many boards including serving as the Deputy Chairman of the Board for the BVI Social Security Board, National Health Insurance of the British Virgin Islands and was the inaugural Chairperson of the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park’s Board of Directors.

Over the past 11 years Anghel has worked in the Financial Services Industry holding a senior management position as Finance and Information Technology Director.

He is an approved senior officer/director by BVI Financial Services Commission (FSC) and was in the top echelon of participants in the Master Course in Compliance conducted by the BVI Financial Services Institute for Directors and Owners of BVI Registered License Holders.

Anghel also worked for a short stint as assistant to the CFO of the 1# ranked hotel in the world at the time “The Bel Air Hotel” in Los Angeles California. He was awarded Supervisor of the Year by the Caribbean Hotel Association and American Express in 1998.

Denesia Richardson

Team Leader Corporate Services

Denesia Patricia Richardson is known to be someone who always provides guidance, and structions for achieving the best results. She is the Corporate Services Team Leader. A student of ICSA, sheholds a Certificate in Trust & Corporate Administration, STEP Foundation and Diploma in ICA Governance, Risk and Compliance.

She has over 21 years of experience in the BVI offshore industry having attained significant experience working at the supervisory level for a number of years at one of the major trust companies in the B.V.I for several years.

 

Jenifer A. France

Senior Fiduciaries Officer

Jenifer France has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, having worked for over 15 years at a leading trust company in the BVI. Holding the position of Corporate Trust Officer, Executive Assistant and Fiduciary Officer, Jenifer has attained much knowledge as she worked closely with managing directors of various BVI trust companies to become a strong individual in this competitive market. Jenifer holds a master’s degree in Business Management and is a Chartered Director.

Claudia Hodge

Executive Assistant to Managing Director

Claudia Hodge has in excess of 15 years' experience in the financial services industry, including as a BVI Financial Services Commission (FSC) approved senior officer. A native of the British Virgin Islands, Ms. Hodge remains dedicated to her local community, personally and professionally. She has served as a board member of the BVI Association of Registered Agents (ARA BVI) and the Deputy Chair of the Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) Registration Board. Claudia holds a Level 2 Certificate, Legal Studies and an ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration.

Deshawn Douglas

Corporate Administrator

With over 2 years’ experience in the financial industry, Deshawn Douglas is a resourceful problem solver who is adept at remaining calm in stressful situations and effectively assisting a variety of clients. He earned an associate degree in Business Administration from H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.

Deshawn is furthering his studies in Financial Technology at the Financial Services Institute to further assist the Carré team in giving high quality service to our clients.

 

Anne-Marie Hodge

Compliance Analyst/Money-Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)

Anne-Marie has 20 years of experience in the offshore financial services industry, which includes being a Supervisor of the Corporate team at one of the larger international trust companies in the British Virgin Islands where she gained respect and admiration from those she led.

Anne-Marie holds an Associate’s Degree in Financial Services, she is an Associate Member of the International Compliance Association (AICA), holds an Advanced Certificate in Regulatory compliance (AICA), and is currently studying for the Diploma in International Governance, Risk and Compliance.

Narelle Nifras

Client Accountant II

Narelle Nifras has been working in the firm for more than 3 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy in the Philippines. Prior to joining the financial services industry in the BVI, she worked for a well-known business process outsourcing company and served the company with exemplary and commendable work by providing highest quality financial services to meet client's satisfaction.

She wants to learn new ideas and aim to have an excellence in her field of expertise. She is currently a member of Philippine Association of Certified Tax Technicians, Inc. and a student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Stella Kammitsi

Managing Director Cyprus

A qualified lawyer, Stella has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 1992. Prior to heading up Carré Trust Cyprus, Stella was leading the International Corporate Department of a top Cypriot law firm, where her main areas of expertise were international and Cyprus corporate and banking law.

Stella is a director on the board of STEP Cyprus (and Secretary for 6 years), the board of BPW Cyprus (and President of the Committee of Legal Affairs) and, since September 2018, President of the Cyprus Women's Lobby.

In July 2016 Stella was appointed by the Cyprus Council of Ministers as Vice-Chairman of the Housing Finance Corporation (“HFC”) and in January 2019 was appointed as Chairwoman. For 4 consecutive years (2015 to 2018) Stella has been on the IFC Powerwomen Top 200 list of Citywealth.

Sergey Vinogradov

Client Advisor

Sergey’s focus is on ensuring tax, legal and regulatory compliance, as well as reporting for high net worth individuals, their international structures and supporting complex transactions. He also supervises the accounting and audit processes for client entities.

Sergey graduated from the State University of Management in Moscow with master’s degree in taxation, and is experienced in a range of tax, legal and regulatory matters, having worked over ten years at International Big Four firms, as well as state tax authorities.
